John C. Peterson
Founder and chief executive of Capitol Strategies, John has been lobbying continuously since 1976. He served in the Kansas House from 1970 to 1974 when he was chair of the Public Health & Welfare Committee. Peterson received his undergraduate degree in political science from Stanford University and his J.D. from Washburn University School of Law in 1974.
Bill joined Capitol Strategies in 1999, recently becoming a partner in the organization. Brady served ten years in the Kansas House and six years in the Kansas Senate where he served on the Senate Ways & Means Committee. He has worked in association management, as an independent businessman, and as Business Administrator for Parsons State Hospital. He received his Masters of Science and Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Pittsburg State.
A graduate of University of Kansas School of Law, Sean earned his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M. He worked for the Kansas Water Congress and as campaign manager of the Robin Jennison for Governor Campaign before joining Capitol Strategies in 2007.
Michelle joined Capitol Strategies in 2009 after serving as the Chief of Staff for the Speaker of the Kansas House of Representative during the 2007-2008 biennium. She brings a wealth of legislative experience at both the state and federal levels having also served as Chief of Staff to three Kansas House Majority Leaders as well as serving as Chief of Staff to a former Member of Congress. Michelle received her Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Kansas.
